Abdulla began his presentation by asking the students what is the meaning of bullying, and he discovered that most of the students didn’t know  the meaning of this word. After that he separated bullying into different types, verbal and cyber etc.

Then he talked about the parents and how they can effect this subject. Also he talked about the media and how they impact on the subject of bullies.

Also he gives us two examples of bullies and their victims:

1.       loujain Hussain a local 11 years old who was attacked by 4 boys brutally and she ended up spending three weeks or more in ICU.

2.       Pheoble from the US who moved from Ireland to the states and there she faced cyber and verbal bullying which led her to commit suicide.

Abdulla had the attention from all of us because most of us present have children and we don’t want our children to face the problem Abdulla mentioned. Abdullas body language and his eye contact was very good. Finally Abdulla answered all our questions.

The presentation was very nice , useful and enjoyable.

Abdulla opened the meeting at 10:30AM in an appropriate manner & introduced the items on the agenda clearly. He directed the meeting successfully from 1 item to the next. The problem under discussion was Child slavery.

1.Ahmed Hasan accepted the idea and pointed out that we must put all our efforts in increasing the awareness about Kony and the situations in Uganda among people. Hadley suggested that we can increase the awareness through the internet by sharing videos, links, and social networks. The chairman also agreed and suggested ways for instance printing flyers and Kony shirts. Hedley was concerned about the cost of the whole process but the chairman noted that they are sponsored by some printing companies so no need to worry.

2. Collecting donations
Ahmed Hasan suggested that we can get a small donation from the T-shirts with the picture of Kony on them; the chairman liked the idea that was given by Ahmed and added that they are going to make a kit box which will be having a T-shirt, two bracelets and a couple of posters that will be given away, whenever there is a donation made and tha will help us to get other people to know about what’s happening in Uganda.

3. Hedley disagreed with the idea of building an army since no one can lead it, and he is concerned about the reaction of the Ugandans when foreigners try to occupy their land. The chairman liked Hedley’s point of view and he noted that the army can be led by a Ugandan so the Ugandans will no worry about the army’s purposes. Ahmed pointed out that the army’s soldiers will be Ugandans after that they will select the support from the USA and the leader.

4. Educate our children
Ahmed said that his main concern is to get his daughter to know about the dangers of the world she's living in and show her that we are trying to make the world better for the coming generations.

5. The chairman noted that we want to gain the Ugandans trust that we want to support them. Then Ahmed suggested using money aids to construct schools, hospitals, and radio stations so Ugandans can see our good intentions. Hedley and the chairman agreed with Ahmed because they believed his idea will show them that we are available for assistance.

6.Force the authorities
Everyone in the meeting found that it is hopeless, because we already tried to talk to the UN and the White House but they didn't move a limb, but when the authorities see the amount of people that care about this cause hopefully they will send more forces to help us.

7. As stated above by Ahmed, by the support we will offer schools, hospitals, and radio stations will be provided in Uganda. Therefore, Kony will be easily tracked to avoid and be aware of future attacks. The chairman said that we are going to assist in constructing underground shelters to guard women and children from Kony.

-In the end we reached the conclusion of:

1. Visuals and videos will be uploaded and shared with users online, and we will communicate with users and fans through social networks.

2. Every donator will receive a box kit.

3. it’s hard to prepare an army without assistance from Ugandans but we are going to do everything to achieve that.

4. Educating and training our children and aware them about what is happening around the world.

5. As soon as sufficient financial aids are provided, immediate actions will be taken in order to deliver all life facilities required to Ugandans as we promised them.

6. Not gaining the support from authorities will not stand as an obstacle from achieving our aim which is helping Ugandans.

7. Educate and train the Ugandans how to shield their families and avoid Kony’s attacks.

reflection :

I enjoyed the meeting and I got useful information about the subject .  I think visuals and videos will be uploaded and shared with users online, and we will communicate with users and fans through social networks ; we talked about arranging an army but it’s hard to prepare an army without assistance from Ugandans but we are going to do everything to achieve that.

Also we talked about many ideas to help them and we are going to try our best to help them and to give an idea to the world about what is happening to them.

In the end I would like to thanks our Chairman for choosing this topic because I knew something I did not know before and the discussion was good to me and for those who attended the meeting.
